The Medjugorje Peace Chaplet can be prayed on ordinary rosary beads. Our Lady has called for us to pray for peace in the world, in our families and in our hearts.
The peace rosary has been a long tradition in Medjugorje and has been prayed by families for generations.
When Our Lady first appeared in 1981, she told the visionaries that she would like them to continue praying this prayer. It is still prayed at the end of Mass each evening in Medjugorje
The chaplet is prayed as follows:
Begin in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Pray the Apostles Creed.
Pray the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be seven times each.
Conclude with the sign of the cross, the sign of our salvation.
The Peace Chaplet contains 21 beads, arranged in seven groups of three beads.

This beautiful rosary is handmade in Medjugorje (place of apparition of Virgin St Mary in 1981) by a family member. In 1981, a group of Children in Medjugorje reported seeing apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary upon a hillside. Since then, the base of the hill has become a place of pilgrimage. Catholics come from all around the world to pray for healing, inspiration and renewed faith at Apparition Hill.
